Boston 旅遊行程建議

最近有很多朋友從台灣或外州來找我們玩, 於是我幫很多人安排了 Boston 的短期旅遊,
既然都寫很多遍了... 乾脆簡單整理出來, 給日後需要的人參考囉~
(黑粗體地點是必玩的, 如果旅遊時間不夠的話, 建議先挑這些 highlight 出來的旅遊地點玩)

Boston 行程:

1. 歷史:
- Freedom trail (經典必玩)
  沿途經過 Boston 的很多重要歷史景點
- Boston Tea Party Ships
- USS Constitution (又稱 Old Ironsides) 
- State House
- Bunker Hill 
  (Freedom trail ends at bunker hill where you can climb 300 steps inside the monument)

2. 風景:
- Boston Common & Public Garden (包含在 Freedom Trail 中, 若有小孩或老人, 很適合來)

- 河景: The riverside in Boston Back Bay (right in front of MIT across the river)

   MIT 對岸的河景, 從 Mass Ave (Harvard Bridge, 2A) 往東(東北) 至 MGH 站這段沿岸的美景, 

   步行可完成, 從 google map 上可看到一個河岸邊的小島 (Charles River Esplanade),
   算是河景和櫻花季最漂亮的地方, 旁邊的 DCR's Hatch Memorial Shell, 是跨年音樂會的地點.
- Beacon Hill:

   The neighborhood in beacon hill is very prototypical New England style in early times.

   其中的 Acorn Street 是波士頓攝影師票選最適合拍照的景點.


3. 一般觀光景點:
- Quincy Market
- Prudential skywalk 
  (go to Top of the Hub in Prudential center. Near evening is recommended!)
- Copley square: 
  Trinity Church, Boston Public Library, Public garden, Boston common.

4. 名校巡禮: 

 - Harvard

 - MIT

6. Museum:
- Museum of Fine Art
- 若有小孩的話, 可以去 Children's Museum 或是 Science Museum 或水族館
- DeCordova Museum

7. 其他推薦: Duck Tour
這是一個相當適合觀光客的活動, 以上這些景點, 若只待個三五天, 應該是玩不完的, 若時間不夠把 Freedom Trail 用腳走完, 可以直接坐 duck tour.
Duck Tour 是搭一個是船又是車的交通工具, 把所有Boston的重要景點繞完 (以 Freedom Trail 為主), 司機也會跟乘客們介紹所有景點. 搭船遊 Charles River 真的很漂亮, 很多帆船, 非常殺底片, 建議挑接近日落的時間去, 陽光灑在河上很美 (但也不要挑太晚的時間, 不然會太冷). 整個 tour 的時間大約 80-minutes (One hour on land and twenty minutes in the water), 
官網在這邊: http://www.bostonducktours.com/ 一張票是$35, 如果確定要搭 duck tour, 要事先訂票喔, 當天買旺季是買不到的!

8. 郊區: (需要開車才能到達)

- Walden Pond: 湖濱散記的作者梭羅就是在此寫下該著作。

- 小婦人的家 (Concord)

- 女巫鎮 Salem

9. 其他 (待整理):
In the evening you can by the way visit the Liberty Hotel near Charles MGH T; the hotel was renovated from a prison.
In downtown, check Newbery st, Boylston st, commonwealth st.,
Love symphony, go to symphony hall, check their program.
It is the season now for kayaking, if you would like to go, google search Charles river kayak
Satellite suburbs/town: Concord, Newport, Capecod.

========= 來美旅遊, 暫時用的手機方案 ========

有些人會順便問我來美國短期旅遊要怎麼解決電話的問題, 其實這方面我不是專家, 但我有些朋友來這邊兩三週的出差, 
短期的話可以用T-Mobile 是有使用才會扣款 (美國接電話也收費), 第一次辦要去門市, 填些很基本的資料. 另外台灣手機必須設定APN, 這個店家會幫你設定, 之後在超市就可以買到re-fill card 自己re-fill. 如果是打電話和簡訊 T-Mobile的非常划算! 不過如果要data的話要注意手機支援的頻段, T-Mobile支援的頻段跟亞洲有點不一樣, 所以如果沒支援到用 USD$2 的就好 雖然只有2G 不過勉強可以用~ 
類似的方案 AT&T 也有, 我沒有仔細研究和比較, 請自己找適合自己的方案囉~
